How To Prevent Blocked Drains
A blocked drain can cause nasty smells or worse, such as waste sewage backing up in the pipes and overflowing into your home. There are some steps you can take to prevent getting a blocked drain in the first place.
Never dispose of nappies, cotton towels or plastic bags into the sewerage system as these can easily causes blockages. Also, do not pour oils or fats down the sink. Instead pour them into a glass jar, and when the jar is full take it to your local recycling centre.
